I would say that this is my kinda dinner.

Tonight we got together to congratulate one social café with it’s 6-th birthday. I’ve been with this café from the beginning of it’s life. I’m not always there, but I’m at the same time, hope it’s makes sense? I volunteer there. All of us volunteer here, that’s how we know each other and that’s how we became a “folking” family.

This place is non-for-profit organization, which has a higher mission to help others. And it’s not just helping homeless and disadvantaged, but it’s also unites so different people together. Different food, different conversations, different age, different look and religion, different abilities, but we all have one thing in common, we always say “yes” to everything, where we think we might be helpful at.

And this café is now at the point, where it’s alomost bigger than a church, cause it is not just doing a good thing, it is also manage to put a thread of kindness through all of us. Now I know if kindness and beauty of support won’t save the world, they at least unite this world and make it laugh.

Ну, вот это мой вариант ужина. Во всем этом есть невероятный смысл, есть жизнь и великая доброта. Щщщща поясню.

Мы сегодня собрались на ужин, чтобы отпраздновать шестилетие социального кафе. И не то, чтобы мы такие особенные – нет, но это кафе – да.  Это кафе не для профита, а для помощи бездомным и нуждающимся. Все действующие лица, кроме шефа – волонтеры. Я познакомилась с этим кафе шесть лет назад, тогда, когда оно только создавалось. А теперь вот в нем столько волонтёров. Мы здесь все работаем бесплатно и потому, у нас есть общая идея, объединяющая нашу такую непохожесть, соединяющая все наши религии и возраста в единое целое.

И, видится мне, что это и есть та самая церковность, где можно говорить обо всем, и не надо объяснять, что состоит из добра и на чем держится мир. Вот такая духовность с разными религиозными конфессиями, под одной крышей. А доброта если не спасет мир, то уж точно его сплотит.
