On the Federation Square there is campfire.

In the heart of the city winter is celebrated by gathering near the campfire. You can sit and warm yourself near the fire and watch performance of dances and signers. And I don’t know what is more important to be a part of another culture, enjoy what you see or to be a part of a circle of strangers who share the same moment as I do?

All of us get together in the circle. There are actually 3 circles by the look of it. Circle of acceptance, circle of embracing a difference and circle, where burns a life of this square. Square also has a circle heart after all.

Мы были вчера на площади. В центре города развели костер.

Костер – это место, вокруг которого собираются люди, чтобы погреться, приготовить еду и подлиться своими историями. Костер или камин – это сердце пещеры, дома, палаточного лагеря. Сегодня он в центре города. И вокруг объединились люди разных национальностей и разных интересов, чтобы посмотреть актеров из разных культур.

И мне приятно, что нас много сплачивает, пусть это даже хлеб и зрелище, тепло и любопытство, все же это лучше оружия, бедствий и страха.
