And again we are at NGV.

Usually I’m not too much interested in porcelain. I don’t know why. May be because in childhood I had a couple of bad examples of figures in my granny’s glass cabinet. They seemed to be dusty and useless and there just for filling an empty space. Those figures were uninteresting things which I couldn’t imagine to play with; besides the fact that I wasn’t allowed to touch them at all.

Here is the thing. My partner brought me to this vitrine in which are two artworks from the 18th century. The first one is the Goddess of Justice, Iustitia or Themis in the Greek mythology, and another one is Father time clipping the wings of Love. Very symbolic. And it’s looks like Love is aware of this procedure and despite the pain he is patiently waiting for this to be ended.

And as always there are two possible finales, either Love will not fly any more or it will get another boost of growth of new feathers which will be bigger and stronger. I attend to think that my partner who brought me there wasn’t focused on the sad version of this porcelain.

Time knows the answer.
