Not long ago we were walking through nice streets in one of Melbourne’s oldest suburbs.
And there it was -this amazing house from a fairy land. I love this house! Definitely, a generation of magical characters was living here or maybe a generation of storytellers too. Or maybe just a distant sister of the Grimm brothers settled in it.
We stood there and tried to imagine what type of person could build dwarfs’ wooden doors, a windvane in the shape of an unrealistic animal and narrow windows with decorative curtains. Those people must be rich… mentally rich with an endless ocean of freedom and imagination in their minds. Why freedom? Cause only your freedom and imagination can create a completely different world in a street of boringly posh neighbours.
Its fence was high and we were hungry to see more. I guess it must be high, so the story keepers can rest peacefully behind its walls. No doubt there are many stories inside this house – just by looking at it from outside you can already tell one of them.
Где-то посреди старого района вырос этот чудесный дом. И всё в нём было сказочным, и двери в полроста и флюгер непонятного существа и даже двери для лошадиной повозки, так как гаражом их назвать сложно. Всё необычно, всё деревянно и из разных историй. Мы долго думали над тем, кто мог бы жить в этом доме и пришли к выводу, что наверное, это двоюродная племянница братьев Гримм или, по крайней мере, ее маленький дух. А почему бы не создать свой мир на подобие сказки и быть в нем Королем и Королевой?
