The sun is shining, the snow is slush,
The willow and birch trees sway.
There’s never been such a day
At Christmastime in A.K.
But it’s December the twenty-fourth
Where is the weather that should be north?

I’m hearing of a white Christmas
Just like the ones we used to know.
Where the treetops glisten, and drivers listen
To hear snowplows in the snow,
I’m hearing of a white Christmas
The jet stream’s wandering tonight,
All the east is chilly, but bright,
And the Christmas in Florida is white.
