But <a href="http://scienceblogs.com/thoughtfulanimal/2011/06/your_lion_eyes.php" target="_blank">this</a> is about as close as one could come to what would be visible to a lion cub being carried by its mother.</p>
<p>(I do have a short-short, &#8220;The case of the Incompetent Police Dog&#8221; in <a href="http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/6466227" target="_blank"><em>Crafty Cat Crimes</em></a>, and if I ever publish the trilogy there is a good deal from a dog&#8217;s eye view, not to mention Maungs and dolphins as characters.)</p>
