Vaccine Centre and date will be communicated through SMS.<br /><strong>Registered HCWs</strong> &#8211; Vaccination Centre and date will be communicated through SMS.<br /><strong>What are the symptoms of COVID-19?<br />Corona Virus SYMPTOMS</strong><br />It can take up to 14 days for symptoms of coronavirus to appear. The main symptoms to look out for are:<br /><img src="https://covid.gov.pk/v2/img/symptom-a.png" alt=""/><br /><strong>Fever</strong> – this means you feel hot to touch on your chest or back (you do not need to measure your temperature). It is a common sign and also may appear in 2-10 days if you affected.</td><td><strong>How is the virus transmitted?<br /></strong>It’s likely that the Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) originated in an animal species, and then spread to humans.<br />Person to person spread of the novel corona virus is reported, but it is not yet understood how easily this happens.<br />Other human coronavirus strains are spread from person to person through contaminated droplets from a person who is sick with the illness (through coughing or sneezing) or contaminated hands.<br /><img src="https://covid.gov.pk/v2/img/symptom-b.png" alt=""/><br /><strong>Coughing</strong> – this means coughing a lot for more than an hour, or 3 or more coughing episodes in 24 hours (if you usually have a cough, it may be worse than usual).<br /><img src="https://covid.gov.pk/v2/img/symptom-c.png" alt=""/><br /><strong>Shortness Of Breath</strong> – Around 1 out of every 6 people who get COVID-19 becomes seriously ill and develops difficulty breathing or shortness of breath.</td></tr><tr><td><strong>PRECAUTIONS</strong><br /><strong>Ways to prevent the disease<br /></strong><br /><strong>Use Face Masks When In Closed And Crowded Places<br />Cover coughs and sneezes with tissues.<br /><br />Avoid Crowd</strong><br />As an individual, you can lower your risk of infection by reducing your rate of contact with other people. Avoiding public spaces and unnecessary social gatherings, especially events with large numbers of people or crowds, will lower the chance that you will be exposed to the coronavirus as well as to other infectious diseases like flu.<br /><strong><br />Hand Hygiene</strong><br />Wash hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds or use hand sanitizer if soap and water are not available.<br /><img src="https://covid.gov.pk/v2/img/advice-d.png" alt=""/><br />Sick People<br />Avoid close contact with anyone showing symptoms of respiratory illness.</td><td><strong>Travelers entering Pakistan</strong><br />Currently, the Government is making all-out efforts to deal with a rapidly evolving situation which is a challenge, not only for Pakistan but the whole world – and ensuring that we take proactive, comprehensive, and coordinated steps to bring back our nationals who wish to return to Pakistan.<br />For International Travelers, please view the detailed travel guidelines by clicking here. The complete SOPs for traveling to Pakistan can be found on the page here.<br /><br /><br /><strong>Travelers entering Pakistan must:<br /></strong>Provide traveler contact information through:The PassTrack mobile app or<br />An accessible web-based form<br />Undergo screening by a health official<br />Provide a certificate of negative COVID-19 RT-PCR test (see below)<br /><strong>Mandatory COVID-19 RT-PCR required prior to travel<br /></strong>Starting <strong>5th October 2020,</strong> all International Travelers coming to Pakistan have to follow these instructions .
