Zippers always seem to be a mystery to install especially the invisible kind! Most important for success is the invisible zipper foot.  It has 2 deep grooves cut out underneath to allow you to put the foot right on top of the zipper and stitch close to the teeth to get the invisible look!

Finish the edges, before installing the zipper. Lay right side of the zipper onto the right side of the fabric, the zipper teeth along the seam allowance. Place foot onto zipper as below and stitch just to the stopper.

Align the zipper onto the other edge, right side of zipper to right side of fabric and repeat above steps.

Close zipper, attach regular zipper foot on the right side of the foot. Align foot close to stitching, you won’t get right on top the previous stitching, just to the left is perfect! Stitch the remaining seam allowance.

Invisible zippers are so easy, virtually no pins required and even quicker to install then hand sewing your custom home dec pillows closed.
