I was eagerly awaiting this issue of Quilter’s Connection magazine as I knew there was an article on Ruler quilting in it – written by my friend, Amy Kraan, who I met at Langley Vacuum and Sewing some time back. She is a loyal Janome owner and has very graciously shared some of her ruler quilting expertise with me. When she brings things she has made to Show & Tell at Langley Vacuum & Sewing’s quarterly Janome Club, we are all amazed at how beautiful her work is. Stunning quilting. So we here at Janome Canada were very happy to suggest Amy offer her expertise to Quilter’s Connection magazine readers. Thank you, Heather, for publishing this great Ruler Quilting information in this issue of your magazine.

SO – this is a shout out to Quilter’s Connection magazine as well as to Amy who is incredibly modest. I obviously cannot share the article with you as that would be breaking copyright but you are more than welcome to visit Quilter’s Connection website (noted on the bottom right corner of the cover pic above). Perhaps you would like to subscribe to the mag like I do and have a nice surprize in your mailbox every few months?

Also in this magazine is a Mystery Table runner project designed by Janet Barker to follow along with and make to celebrate Canada’s 150th birthday. Janome Canada donated the set of Tamara Kate (typo in the mag) sewing luggage featured on page 19 of this issue of Quilter’s Connection with it’s so very cute little embroidered bicycle on each of the 3 pieces that is up for grabs in this contest. We featured this sewing luggage in a recent post.

Will you be rushing out to buy your Quilters Connection magazine? Or subscribing to make sure you don’t miss future issues?

Aside from this issue of the above magazine, we have offered numerous posts on janomelife blog about Ruler Quilting. If you missed these or wish to review, just type ruler quilting in the search box and you will get a list of all the posts we have published on this topic.
