After the amazing 3DS remake of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time there were (rightly) rumours aplenty regarding the game’s sequel The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask, after-all Grezzo had already built the engine (the original N64 game re-used the Ocarina engine). For fears of the 3DS being considered a port machine (due to the similarly timed to Ocarina 3D release of Star Fox 64 3D) the Majora’s Mask remake never came. Fast-forward two and a half years and Nintendo teased the re-emergence of the game by having Majora’s Mask (as in the actual mask) visible (but not wearable) in the shop found in The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds). Now another tease has been made with the latest screenshot for the newest Super Smash Bros. game for both 3DS and Wii U.
