In my final catch up post from last week’s Nintendo Direct I look at the pricing and release window of the announced DLC for Super Smash Bros.. The game will receive an update on 15 April where Mewtwo will be downloadable for all those that registered both the 3DS and Wii U versions of SSB on or before 31 March (there’s a 90 day limit before the code expires). Mewtwo will be available independently from 28 April priced at ¥450 on 3DS or Wii U, or ¥550 for both versions. Lucas (from Mother 3) will be available too from June.

Also from 15 April will see the above Mii Fighter costumes (and detailed at http://www.smashbros.com/jp/dlc/index.html) available for ¥80 each (again just the one system or ¥120 for both 3DS and Wii U) or a pack of all eight costumes for ¥640 and ¥960 (yes, a saving of ¥0). Count me in for the Link, Rockman and monkey outfit! Other fighters will become available as DLC later in the year. Vote for your favourite fighter at https://cp.nintendo.co.jp/jp/
