● The busiest Friday in ages with over 30 pieces of news! Uniqlo’s UTGP’17 is my personal highlight with $10,000 and a signed (by Shigeru Miyamoto!) ● Yesterday’s new Pokémon Sun Moon information was released a few hours earlier due to leaks and revealed seven new Pokémon. Watch the official trailer here.
● The next Mechanic Arms eShop title is coming in late July and will be priced at ¥500. It’s an entirely new title too!
● Rocket Company has completed its merger with Imagineer and is effectively no more;-(
● Collectible Badge Center was updated with 11 panels on pixelated Pokémon X & Y badges and one panel of non-pixelated Pokémon (including Jirachi!). There’s three days of free goes too.
● Nintendo’s LINE account was updated with a Kinopio-kun drawing of Shovel Knight plus wallpapers (see frontpage for full details).
● Splatoon Version 2.9.0 is coming on 6 July adding compatibility with the new Squid Sisters amiibo plus the standard balancing, adjusting and bug fixing (here)!
● Callie & Mario are coming to Super Mario Maker although Japanese Wii U owners will have to wait a little longer for Aori and Hotaru to be confirmed. The North American trailer is here. Edit: since confirmed for Japan with the Japanese trailer here. Oh and a Super Mario Maker Course Selection website has opened up here.
● New My Nintendo Gold Point rewards with discounts offered on The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D, Famicom Remix: Best Choice, Mario and Donkey Kong: Mini Mini Carnival and New Super Mario Bros. U.
● Nintendo Service Centre won’t be able to accept personal deliveries from 1 September but only those sent by courier (source).
● Denpa Ningen no RPG FREE! Ver.1.12 is coming 6 July bringing a new chapter, expansion of the island, expansion of several events, additional thrift shop items and more. Go here for the full list.
● The arcade version of Pokkén Tournament will receive a new character on 20 July according to a tweet with the reveal coming 14 July on a niconico livestream.

● Shovel Knight is up to number two on the Wii U eShop charts and number eight on 3DS (3DS is retail too).
● Secretary Susie has updated the Kirby Planet Robobot website here with concept art from the game from the Haltmann Works Company.
● An interview with the Kouenji Joshi Soccer 3 developers at gamer.ne.jp. The only things of note is that the 3DS wasn’t the original plan, most players are men in their forties, the original planned release was to coincide with the 2014 World Cup and they plan to novelise Kouenji 3 before they start work on the fourth game!
● HORI are releasing a Tough Pouch for New Nintendo 3DS LL in Black × Red and Black × Blue in July for ¥1,512. Go here for more info and pics.
● Nintendo Co. Ltd. stocks this week rose to 14,660 recovering somewhat from last week’s Brexit anomaly. The Q&A session has also been posted here.

● First day sell-through for Zero Escape: Zero Time Dilemma is about 20%. Shovel Knight is low although word-of-mouth should help it.
● 341 companies have already registered for Tokyo Game Show 2016 up from 301 last year. TGS16 is 15 – 18 September.
