● Friends defeated Family 2-1 in the Splatoon 2 Frosty Fest over the weekend. Check out the percentages and results announcement video at this post. And in the second of this past weekend’s tournament results, Twintelle defeated Byte & Barq 54%-46% in the ARMS Party Crash Bash and will face Max Brass in the second round!
● Teyon Japan said they will release more titles this year than last year, and currently have nine total games planned including some unreleased ones!
● Cosen announced the high-speed battle action game Panty Party for worldwide release on the Nintendo Switch eShop this Spring priced at ¥1,500. Trailer posted here.
● Cosen also announced the cute simulation game Piyorun Ikusei Nikki (Piyorun’s Observation Diary) for worldwide release on the Switch eShop in 2019 with price TBD.
● Raw Fury permanently reduced the price of the platform game Uurnog Uurnlimited on the Japanese Switch eShop from ¥1,690 to ¥980. Japanese trailer posted here.
● Koei Tecmo Games confirmed that Leifang is the second additional new character for DEAD OR ALIVE Xtreme 3 Scarlet in the trailer posted here.
● FuRyu have updated WORK×WORK to Version 1.3.0 although no patch notes have been found!

● Speaking of sales: Arc System Works will begin their New Year-end sale shortly with Switch, 3DS and Wii U games discounted. They had aimed for 01 January but it should instead begin as soon as this week.
● Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp saw new Butterfly Goals where you can ear 45 x Leaf Tickets, Timmy’s fortune cookie, Goldie’s library cookie and a Nordic patch cookie just by catching 15 x Tiger butterflies, 15 x Monarch butterflies and 1 x Emperor butterfly.
● Cygames’ Cycomics app (App Store link here) includes the Dragalia Lost manga.
● Fire Emblem Heroes saw Summoning Focus: Heroes with Tactic Skills begin featuring Shiro: Raw Talent, Siegbert: Future King and L’Arachel: Princess of Light.

● Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is the Japanese Nintendo Game of the Year for 2018 receiving 410 votes over on this site’s Twitter . ● The Bravely Default Twitter account confirmed they are working on a new game although no indication on what series or platform.
● Nintendo Co., Ltd. shares shot up a massive +5.85% today to close trading at 29,670.00.
● The Miracle Twin (ミラクルツイン) trademark (post here) is for a Mew and Mewtwo TCG set consisting of 94 cards. Full details at Serebii.
● Super Smash Bros. Ultimate looks like being the best-selling game in Japan for the fifth consecutive week according to GEO. Super Mario Party and Dragon Quest Builders 2: Hakaishin Shidoo to Karappo no Shima (Nintendo Switch version) will likely be numbers two and three in what is described as a big week for Switch software.
● Kadokawa Games announced that the GOD WARS: Nihon Shinwa Taisen (The Complete Legend) has sold 200,000 if counting the original version, the updated version, physical, digital and global sales! Both the PS4 and Vita versions are on sale right now.
