Marie is beign given the nick name “The Antisocial Poet of the Hollow Forest” and seems to get an opening in the story of the game. The Article then goes in to describe Marie fighting style.

“Deadly combatant with skills that control and immobilize opponents.” She can pull out “game-changing items” from her purse, and her Persona Kaguya “complements her abilities with ranged and stun attacks.”

As of today Marie has been confirmed to be a free download that will be available on the first week just like Adachi. As for a story for her it has yet been confirmed or denied. In her trailer we see her talking to Margret so I would lean towards yes.
