<![CDATA[The King Of Fighters XIV How The Characters Are Now]]>Just found a stream for The King Of Fighters XIV showing the characters in action at the PlayStation Experience. The characters on hand to play are Kyo, Iori, Leona, Chang and Andy. The main thing to I noticed in general is that ex and neo max are in. I am not so sure about drive cancels but HD mode is gone replace with max mode which I am not sure what it does. I will go over the characters as I saw them in the stream. The stream is over now but if I find videos of the matches I will post it.

Kyo

He is back to the kenpo style as we have been seeing in the trailer.  The only new thing I saw was his new neo max which seems to be a punch with very short range. He is also packing a new DM which looks like a reanimation of his 182 shiki from 99 and 2000.

Iori

Iori has his flame back and he is as bad ass as before with  his flames and a mix of his claw animation from when he was without them. From what I can gather Iori claw normal now have the claw animation that was used for his the special moves from when he didn’t have the flame creating the feeling of the type of edits we see in the mugen community. His neo max is his claw version with flames.

Leona

The Ikia warrior seems to be a 3d version of her XIII self from her neo max to her normal specials.

Chang

Everyone iron ball barrier is back and he is in true forum. For those who might not know what I am talking about we have his old moves that made him a frustration to go against from his spinning chain to his throw. The old boy is back.

Andy

The young Bogard is the same story as Leona. Not seem to change from when he was a 2d sprit. Besides the custom change naturally.

What I just posted is what I have noticed in the characters as they are in Beta from the stream. Things might change in final version so this is the just how are things are. With that in mind enjoy.
