Yes the movie version is coming to the game. Fans thought it would happen sooner or later but as the character will have spoilers for the movie Dragon Ball Super Broly we will have t wait. But according to the article this version of the mad Saiyan will have a different move that will make it worth while.
That is not all as we will be getting a new stage for the tournament of power as well as a Broly wig and Santa suit for our avatars. Now there will probably be more to this as with these updates we get 2 characters. When that happens I will let you know.
