From Dhalism to Ryu we see him take out super projectiles like nothing. As for normal ones we see him put against Bison to which he uses a primal flame not to cancel Bison attack but buffer through it as once he hits it the psycho ball just goes right through him.

These seems like a clench for winning fireball wars but do keep 2 things in mind. First this is his v trigger meaning you have to build it up. 2nd it has a lot of recovery. So It might take out a few fireball battles but if Ryu uses his v trigger and starts through them out one might just get through and open Gill up. But combine this with his projectiles and 2nd v skill  blocking and it seems Gill has many ways to prove he is on top it seems. Take a look below and see it in action.
