The Jeju Udo Seashell Festival is an annual extravaganza held in conjunction with the Jeju Canola Flower Festival. It’s a great time to enjoy Jeju’s fresh seashell seafood as well as the beautiful, bright yellow canola flowers which blossom at this time of year on Jeju’s largest and most easterly island.

Date: April 21 to April 23
Locations around Udo Island and at Cheonjin Port
It’s open to all and there is no admission fee (other than the ferry ticket).
There will ferry sailings every 30 minutes during the festival (beginning at 7:30 a.m. from Seongsan and Udo Island [9 a.m. from Jongdal Port] and with the last ferry departing Seongsan at 6 p.m. [5 p.m. from Jongdal] according to the festival organizers. These times are subject to weather conditions, though, so it’s always good to arrive a bit early.

Program includes: Song contests, dance and musical performances, turban shell collecting experience programs for kids, a comedian magic show, a walking program of Olle trail 1-1, among other fun activities.
