It’s no secret that I enjoy romantic stuff, but I really dislike anything which has too much cliche attached. So, I’m happy to say, that both the manga and the anime of “Kaguya-Sama: Love is war” won’t disappoint in that regard, being a romantic comedy that will make you cheer the inability of the main characters to express their love for each other. Something which is accentuated by a really serious and sometimes condescending narrator.

Both main characters are your typical tsundere and the story follows their very well executed or on the fly plans to make the other one declare their love. The characters which serve as support are amazing on their own, and that only makes the story better.

The story and the manga have hilarious moments, but I won’t spoil them.

The opening song “Love Dramatic” (The link has the live version in all it’s glory) is catchy and very in the style of Tom Jones, Masayuki Suzuki voice chops are more than evident, if you want a more polish version search for the studio version.
The show’s opening is very inspired in the old 007 intros and it’s a great entry to a show, which is literally a love war.

I don’t really like stories in a school/college setting, but I can forgive this show.
