012 Chad

A novice thief who lives to avenge his “parents.”
A thief raised in a Lycian orphanage. He is from the same orphanage as Lugh and Lleu. Het met Roy and his group at Araphen, and joined them.
He holds a strong grudge against Bern as they killed the head of the orphanage –someone who was like a parent to Chad. After the war he returned to the orphanage, and completely quit his thieving ways.

Chad is the oldest of the orphans at the orphanage that Bern attacked. For this reason, after the head of the orphanage died, Chad felt that he had to take care of his younger “brothers” and “sisters.” However, Chad had no means of making money. It seemed like he had no choice but to become a thief.
As he traveled with Lugh, Lleu, and Roy, he learned useful skills outside of thievery.

「親」の復讐に生きる盗賊見習い
　リキアの孤児院で育った盗賊。ルゥ、レイとは同じ孤児院の出身。アラフェンでロイたちと出会い、そのまま行動を共にすることになった。
　親のように慕っていた孤児院の院長を殺されたため、ベルンに強い恨みを持つ。動乱終結後は孤児院に戻り、盗賊からはすっぱり足を洗った。

　ベルン兵に襲われた孤児院の孤児たちの中で、チャドは一番年上だった。それゆえ、院長の亡きあとは自分が「弟」や「妹」の面倒を見なければならないと考えたのだろう。しかし、チャドにはお金を稼ぐ手段がない。そんな彼が盗賊になったのはある意味しかたのないことだったのかもしれない。
　そんな彼も、同じ孤児院出身のルゥやレイ、そしてロイと行動を共にするうちに、自分の技術が盗み以外にも役立つことを知るのだ。
