A young practitioner of dark magic.

A young boy brought up in a Lycian orphanage. He is Lugh’s twin, but unlike his brother, has a very self-assured personality. He was allured by the power of dark magic, and left the orphanage on a journey where he self-trained in dark magic. He reunited with Lugh and Chad by chance, and after hearing how Bern burned down the orphanage, joined in order to avenge them.

Though he likes to talk like an adult and is disobedient, he is not a sourpuss by nature. He acts perverse to compensate for his awareness of being an inexperienced child. Lugh and Chad are well aware that deep down in his heart, Lleu is a nice person.

However, his strong desire for power strong enough to “destroy the world once or twice” is what made him aspire to learn dark magic. With Nimue as his guide, he likely went on to become a great practitioner of magic after the war.

闇魔法を極めんとする若き術者

　リキアの孤児院で育った少年。ルゥの双子の弟だが、兄とは違い、性格は強気で積極的だ。闇魔法の力にひかれて孤児院を飛び出し、旅をしながら独学で闇魔法の修行を続けていた。偶然再会したルゥやチャドに、孤児院がベルンに焼き払われたことを聞かされ、仇を討つために参戦する。

　大人びた物言いを好み、素直になれないレイだが、根っからのひねくれ者という訳ではない。自分が未熟な子供であることを痛感しているため、その弱さの裏返しで天邪鬼になっているのだ。レイの心の芯にある優しい部分を、ルゥやチャドはちゃんと理解している。

　もっとも、「世界のひとつやふたつ　いつでも滅ぼしてやるさ」という力への欲求の強さは、闇魔道を志す素質十分。ニイメの導きも得手、戦後は偉大な術者になったのだろう。
