The Great General who defends the Eturian Royal Family
The head of the Three Generals of Eturia, and Lalum’s adoptive father. He helped out Prince Mildain who was thought to be assassinated. Though he noticed the corruption in the Eturian Aristocracy, he reluctantly continued to help them for the sake of King Mordred who had been taken hostage. He entrusts the future to Prince Mildain, and resolved to fight with the United Lycian Army.

Douglas fought Roy as an enemy, but when the Eturian capital Aquleia was liberated from the coup forces, he openly became Roy’s ally.
As a Great General, Douglas constantly strives to meet national interest, as well as keeping his fatherly demeanor with Lalum. When you see Douglas enjoying Lalum’s tasty looking meals, the phrase “love goes beyond taste” comes to mind. Though, the taste of Lalum’s cooking was never too incredible to begin with… it is nothing Douglas cannot handle.

王家を守るエトルリアの大軍将
　エトルリア三軍将の筆頭で大軍将、またララムの養父でもある。暗殺されかかったミルディン王子を助けた。エトルリア貴族の腐敗に気付いてはいたが、国王モルドレッドを盾に取られ、やむなく彼らに力を貸す。未来をミルディン王子に託し、自らは滅ぶ覚悟でリキア軍との戦いに赴く。

　大軍将としての威厳を保ち、国益を常に案じるダグラスも、養女ララムの前でだけは父親の顔になる。ララムの手作り弁当を本当においしそうに食べるダグラスを見ていると、「愛は味覚を超える」という言葉が浮かぶ。まさか、ララムの料理の味か、元々のダグラス家の味付けだということはないだろう･･････
