A thief from Daein. He was a stowaway who was found by Ike’s crew and traveled with the Greil Mercenaries from then on.
Due to having grown up in an harsh environment, he holds great disdain for nobles who had simply been handed a life of extravagance.
He seeks to reunite with a very important person he was separated from, but an explanation as to who that is would not be revealed for a few more years.

Notes

• “Begnion” is not a translation mistake, it is stated in the book. Despite Sothe’s profile (in RD) saying he was born in Nevassa, this book took its origins right from their original profiles. So it’s possible Sothe was originally intended to be from Begnion and was changed later on in Radiant Dawn.
