The black dragon king of Goldoa –home of the dragon tribe laguz. Father of Kurthnaga and Rajaion. He is a great man with a robust body and sports a prominent mustache. He has been alive since the ancient times, and was one of the legendary “Three Heroes” who received the goddess Ashera’s blessing and defeated the dark god Yune 800 years ago.
During the Mad King’s War, he took a very conservative stance toward the conflict, earning him Tibarn’s ridicule and the nickname “old lizard*.” However, it is because Dheginsea understands that the entire continent would be at war if the dragons were to intervene, which would break the pact he had formed with the goddess Ashera. The terms of the covenant were that there shall not be continent-wide conflict for the next one thousand years, and he intends to see that promise through –no matter the cost.

*化石親父 Old Fossil, or literally: Fossil Dad in Japanese. Localization didn’t use a consistent term (in Path of Radiance it was ancient fossil, in Radiant Dawn it was “useless old lizard.”
