Duke Persis of Begnion.
He was appointed chief senator in the year 640. He concurrently holds the post of prime minister, and also acts as Empress Sanaki’s guardian. Appointed as empress at just five years old, Sanaki was emotionally unstable due to having lost her family. The two eventually developed a mutual bond of trust, with Sephiran being the only person Sanaki could place her full faith in. Since then, the activities of the child empress and young prime minister have been met with cheers. Sephiran has the support of the populace due to being seen as the embodiment of impartial justice, and is extremely influential as a result.
He had the tendency to appear at unexpected places and times, rivaling Sanaki and her occasional displays of rash behavior. He is a man of many mysteries, having been held prisoner at Nados Castle (calling himself “a simple monk on a pilgrimage”), and showed he could stop the Black Knight with just a few words at Port Toha.
