He has a longstanding friendship with Shinon, and looks up to him like an older brother. He often consults Shinon and goes out with him for drinks. He has a bad case of having love at first sight when it comes to women, often found chanting, “It’s destiny! That girl and I are fated to be together!” Though he stays positive even if it doesn’t end so well. Even when it’s a female laguz, he will call out to her. Be it beorc, laguz, or anyone in-between, he will fall for her. He views people as being good and trusts them easily, but it makes him rather susceptible to being swindled for his money (among other things).While Gatrie personally doesn’t care much either way, how or why Shinon puts up with it is a mystery.
