A warrior who serves King Caineghis of Gallia as a tiger-type beast-tribe laguz. Ranulf is his superior officer, while Lyre serves as his subordinate. As part of the Laguz Alliance, he clashes with the Daein Army under orders from King Caineghis.
He is polite regardless of whom he is speaking to, and keeps a formal tone which may make him come off as gentleman-like. However, when speaking to close friends instead of strangers, he drops his “public behavior” and shows his (true?) personality –which is more like that of a woman in both words and actions.
He is particular about earning his superior officer Ranulf’s favor. As such, there are often squabbles between Kyza and Lyre when it comes to things regarding Ranulf.

Notes:

• I don’t actually recall if he showed a more feminine side in the English version. I may study the Japanese version more to see. To clarify, by “tone” they mean speech patterns in Japanese, which have feminine inflections (as well as formal/informal). Basically, he acts quite differently to close friends than he does to others, hiding what seems to be a feminine side in public.
• UPDATE: The lovely amielleon actually covered the above difference in Kyza between Japanese and English very well here. I encourage you to read it to get a full idea.
• The “?” that is in true is from the original wording, and not my uncertainty as to what it says.
