A bird-tribe hawk who serves as Hawk King Tibarn’s trusted right hand. He is gifted with “Insight” which enables him to see extremely long distances without issue.
Cheerful and talkative, he even talks to beorc in a carefree manner. He has rather small stature compared to his larger countrymen, however, and so appears quite young. Janaff himself is pretty sensitive to this, and becomes aggressive when others tease him about it.
Though Tibarn is his king, they do not share the typical lord-servant relationship, and in fact are more like close friends. When the three [with Ulki] of them are together, one can see their banter is quite informal. In one instance of these conversations, their ages are touched upon. Janaff is actually the oldest of them, with at least five years on Ulki. As such, Ulki treated Janaff like an old man at any opportunity he got.
As King Tibarn sided with the Laguz Alliance, Janaff once again got to fight side by side along with Ike and his crew.
