Organizations can apply for funding to offer basic education about voting in King County and technical assistance, such as helping voters change their address in their preferred language.

Grants of up to $25,000 are available to develop a 9-month campaign focused on voter engagement or up to $10,000 for a series of smaller events.

Who should apply? Any organization that works to reduce inequities in voting access in historically marginalized communities, such as communities of color, limited-English speaking communities, people with disabilities, low-income youth, veterans, the homeless and reinstated voters who have been convicted of a felony.

Voter engagement activities should involve community members, create community interest in participating in elections and voting and be non-partisan. All activities must occur within King County limits.
