<![CDATA[NEW MUSIC]]>THE HIGH CONFESSIONS – “Turning Led In To Gold With…” Industrial rock from four very different musicians. THC are Chris Connelly (Finitribe, Revco, Murder Inc.), Sanford Parker (Minsk), Steve Shelley (Sonic Youth) and Jeremy Lemos (White/Light). They play a  real heavy psychedelic industrial rock mixed with electronic ambience, drone soundscapes and avant-garde. The combination of Chris Connelly’s vocals and Steve Shelly’s drums reminds me of Pigface’s early records, just a wall of sonic sound. On the last two songs “Dead Tenements” and “Chlorine and Crystal” this group really comes together and delivers in my opinion, two of the best songs in recent times.

INSIDIOUS DISEASE – “Shadowcast” Death metal co-op featuring Silenoz (Dimmu Borgir), Jardar (Old Man’s Child) Tony Laureano (Angel Corpse, Nile), Shane Embury (Napalm Death) and Mark grewe (Morgoth).

HELL MILITIA – “Last Station On The Road To Death.” Black metal from France.

EL-P – “Weareallgoingtoburninhellmegamixxx3” Strange hip-hop from Jaime Meline aka “EL-Producto” from Brooklyn, NY.

BLOOD REVOLT – “Indoctrine” Black metal from Canada.

FLESHWROUGHT – “Dementia/Dyslexia” Death metal band featuring Jonny Davy (Job For A Cowboy) and Navene Koperweis (Animosity).

CHARLES MANSON – “Air” A four part seasonal lp series  from this crazy motherfucker from prison.

NEFARIUM – “Ad Discipulum” Italian black metal.

ISIS & MELVINS – “Split” Two of the last Isis songs recorded before they broke up, and two newer ones from The Godfathers of sludge.

RAMESSES – “Take The Curse.” Crushing blackened doom, torrential riffing, concussive percussion, free-form psychedelic jams and enigmatic spells are what this UK band does best.
