<![CDATA[SWANS @ SUMMIT MUSIC HALL 2/22/11 DENVER-CO]]>“Swans Are Not Dead” claimed Michael Gira founder of the experimental noise rock band Swans, about a year ago. Since then they have released “My Father Will Guide Me Up A Rope To The Sky,” one of last years best albums, a departure from his apocalyptic noise doom rock but equally as good. They have been around since the early 80’s, creating some of that eras noisiest records like “Cop” “Filth” “Holy Money” and “Greed.” Joining Mr. Gira on tour is Norman Westberg on guitar, Phil Puleo on drums, Christoph Hahn on guitar, Chris Pravdica on bass and the mighty Thor Harris on drums and percussions, “Six clowns will slaughter a cow for your amusement.”
