<div>RALEIGH, NC: The North Carolina NAACP will honor fast food workers with the Charles A. McLean award at its 31st Annual Humanitarian Awards Banquet on <span class="aBn"><span class="aQJ">January 24, 2015</span></span>.</div>
<div></div>
<div>&#8220;I want you to know, without a shadow of a doubt, that we who believe in America and progress are proud of the way you are fighting to change economic and labor rights in this country,&#8221; Rev. Dr. William J. Barber, II told a group of fast food workers who organized a strike in Greensboro in December.</div>
<div></div>
<div>Crystal Price, a Greensboro-based fast food worker and leader within Raise Up, will accept the McLean award on behalf of the fast food workers.</div>

<p>The group ordered ate pizza and sang songs. The point of their trip to Tillis&#8217;s office was to harp on Medicaid expansion.  There was <a title="https://twitter.com/LadyLiberty1885/status/471400537313644544" href="https://twitter.com/LadyLiberty1885/status/471400537313644544" target="_blank">video</a> taken inside Tillis&#8217;s office where Price <a title="https://twitter.com/joshshaffer08/status/471405329209905152" href="https://twitter.com/joshshaffer08/status/471405329209905152" target="_blank">sobbed</a> for the camera about <a title="http://chapelboro.com/news/state-government/tillis-15-join-rev-william-barber-moral-monday-press-conference-durham/" href="http://chapelboro.com/news/state-government/tillis-15-join-rev-william-barber-moral-monday-press-conference-durham/" target="_blank">her situation</a>.</p>
<p>No media outlet has bothered to question how Price doesn&#8217;t have insurance when she clearly qualifies for various assistance available to the public.  No media outlet has bothered to ask why a fast food job that pays minimum wage is being portrayed by these union tied protesters a career that should support a family.</p>
<p>This group apparently attempted to brand the event, calling themselves the &#8220;Tillis 15&#8243;to the media. Only 14 were arrested and Crystal Dawn Price of Greensboro was one of them. Of that 14, multiple individuals had <a title="http://ladyliberty1885.com/2014/05/27/occupy-monday-52714-edition/" href="http://ladyliberty1885.com/2014/05/27/occupy-monday-52714-edition/" target="_blank">prior records</a>.  As it turns out, so does Crystal Dawn Price.</p>
<p>According to Greensboro area criminal records, Crystal Price was arrested and booked at the Greensboro county jail on July 10, 2013 under the charges of <a title="http://www.ncga.state.nc.us/EnactedLegislation/Statutes/HTML/BySection/Chapter_14/GS_14-33.html" href="http://www.ncga.state.nc.us/EnactedLegislation/Statutes/HTML/BySection/Chapter_14/GS_14-33.html" target="_blank">simple assault-affray</a> (fighting in public that disturbs the peace) and battery and failure to appear.  You can find her 2013 mug shot <a title="http://jail.com/arrest-records/crystal-price-5416138" href="http://jail.com/arrest-records/crystal-price-5416138" target="_blank">here</a> , another <a title="http://www.bustedmugshots.com/image/get/listing/mug-shot-126079291.jpg" href="http://www.bustedmugshots.com/image/get/listing/mug-shot-126079291.jpg" target="_blank">here</a> and her 2014 mug shot<a title="http://abc11.com/politics/14-arrested-after-sit-in-at-legislative-building/79538/" href="http://abc11.com/politics/14-arrested-after-sit-in-at-legislative-building/79538/" target="_blank"> here</a>.</p>

<p><strong>More on Price<br />
</strong>According to publicly available voting records, Price is a Democrat with a short voting history<strong>.</strong></p>
<p>It doesn&#8217;t appear Price has been <a title="https://twitter.com/crystalprice37" href="https://twitter.com/crystalprice37" target="_blank">on Twitter</a> long. Price has thirty-some-odd followers which include multiple other union fast food protesting front groups, NC NAACP, the AFL-CIO&#8217;s &#8220;<a title="https://twitter.com/AFLCIO_Organize" href="https://twitter.com/AFLCIO_Organize" target="_blank">Organizing Institute</a>&#8221; and &#8220;<a title="https://twitter.com/OrganizeSouth" href="https://twitter.com/OrganizeSouth" target="_blank">Organize the South</a>&#8220;. <p>Note the letter references &#8220;Southern Workers Organizing Committee&#8221;.  That&#8217;s just another name for Raise Up for $15.  Perhaps Ms. Price should see how well their <a title="http://www.unionjobs.com/listing.php?id=5794" href="http://www.unionjobs.com/listing.php?id=5794" target="_blank">&#8220;Organizer&#8221; position pays</a> as listed at <a title="http://www.unionjobs.com/staffing_list.php" href="http://www.unionjobs.com/staffing_list.php" target="_blank">UnionJobs.com</a>.</p>

<p>Remove all doubt these &#8220;protests&#8221; are anything other than unions wanting to add to their numbers.
