The Minister of Communication and Information of Venezuela, Jorge Rodriguez, dismantled on Sunday the false information spread by the hegemonic media accusing the government of Nicolás Maduro of generating violence in the Colombian-Venezuelan border bridge Simón Bolívar, and of burning trucks with supplies intended to enter Venezuelan territory.
“We must denounce to the world the immense and dangerous operation of false positives to attack Venezuela,” said the Bolivarian politician.
Rodríguez revealed videos made during the protests and by drones in which it is evident that the burning of the two vehicles – for which the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB) was blamed in imperialist media – took place on the Colombian side, several meters away from GNB officials, and was caused by Molotov cocktails dropped by young people in opposition.
He also assured that two of the people who carried out violent acts at the border have been detained.
Also, the minister shared files that show how two tanks driven by deserters who hijacked GNB vehicles, attacked the people present at the scene, running over two women: an officer of the National Guard and a Chilean photojournalist, Nicole Kramm, to then cross to the Colombian side. The goal was to create a false positive to hold Bolivarian troops responsible for the violence.
“If it was true that they were after humanitarian aid, then why was it the first task to run over people with tanks?” asked Jorge Rodríguez.
In addition, the analyst also criticized Congressman Juan Guaidó, who on Saturday celebrated one month of having proclaimed himself president in charge of the country on January 23, recalling that, if his role was to succeed, the opposition leader had exceeded the deadline for calling elections, stipulated by the Constitution within a month.
“Guaidó is a false positive in himself,” Rodriguez said.

Similarly, reaffirmed the illegitimacy of the alleged government of the deputy of the National Assembly (AN) in contempt, Juan Guaidó, who proclaimed himself “president in charge” of the country, being the leader of expressing false flags and guarimbas, in the border area, under the orders of the US administration.
“The people, the Bolivarian National Police, the Bolivarian National Guard defended the right to peace and the dismantling of false flags operations in the Simón Bolívar International Bridge, which attempted to undermine citizen tranquility as part of the plans protected by the US Government against Venezuela”, explained the Sector Vice President.
He also denounced the Government of Colombia and its president Iván Duque for being complicit in these destabilizing acts that took place yesterday at the Colombian-Venezuelan border.
For his part, the People’s Power Minister for Communication and Information also highlighted that the International Red Cross denounced that the “humanitarian aid” that the US wants to enter to Venezuela with the complicity of Duque’s government, did not comply with the basic principles of aid and opposition groups beared the distinctive of the organization in an irregular manner.
Finally, he reported that members of the right were those who burned a truck with the supposed “humanitarian aid” they wanted to send to Venezuelan territory.
