UNOFFICIAL TRANSLATION

The Libyan People’s National movement condemns the terrorizing of the people of Tripoli with heavy weapons, and the terrorist militias that take civilians as human shields are fully responsible for the harm inflicted on Tripoli, and calls on the Tripoli brigades to disengage from militias and terrorist gangs and to defend the city and its inhabitants.

The Libyan People’s National movement also calls on the international community to bear full responsibility for what is being done, as a result of its unjust and unjustified intervention in 2011 and demands that the militias and armed gangs that enabled it withdraw from Tripoli immediately and agree to a civilian police force, and calls on the international community to shoulder their responsibilities and provide urgent food aid to the population.

The solution in Tripoli would primarily involve the safe exit of militias to the city of Misurata, civilian police assuming management of security, and the formation of a national consensus government that will govern the country for a short period.

We pray to God that the innocent victims should be honored with his broad mercy.

تدين الحركة الوطنية الشعبية الليبية ترويع أهل طرابلس بالأسلحة الثقيلة وتحمل الميليشيات الإرهابية التي تتخد من المدنيين دروعا بشرية المسؤولية التامة على ما يلحق بطرابلس من آذى، وتدعو كتائب طرابلس الى ضرورة فك ارتباطهم بالميليشيات والعصابات الارهابية والدفاع عن المدينة وسكانها.

والحركة الوطنية الشعبية الليبية تحمل أيضا مايسمى المجتمع الدولي المسؤولية الكاملة فيما يجري والذي جاء نتيجة لتدخله الظالم والغير مبرر عام 2011م، وأسقط فيه النظام الوطني وشرعن للفوضى، و تطالبه بإخراج الميليشيات والعصابات المسلحة التي مكّنها من طرابلس فوراً، والتوافق على قوة شرطية مدنية لفرض الأمن بها، كما تدعوه الى تحمل مسؤولياته وتقديم المعونات الغذائية العاجلة للسكان.

إن الحل في طرابلس يتلخص أساسا في إخراج آمن للميليشيات إلى مدينة مصراته، وتولي شرطة مدنية شؤون الامن، وتشكيل حكومة توافق وطني تدير الدولة لمدة قصيرة .

وندعو الله ان يتغمد الضحايا الابرياء برحمته الواسعة.
