The Poem Tripped and Fell Downstairs

To Where the Poet Lives

The Poem Got, Slammed Down Hard

Crashed into the Earth

With the Sounds, Echoing in the Universe

destruction of natural habitat of some of the animals on the planet…not my photo still…

Kaohsiung Was Shocked

So Was, the Earth

The Sun, Nervous about It

Started Sweating Cold Sweats Right by the Side

It’d, Bumped the Right Frontal Side

The Doctor and God, Gave the Poem

About a Dozen Stitches

Without the Sutcher Wounds, the Scars Invisible

The Poem, More Perfect

This Was, God’s Warning

And the Voices of Advise, Echoed in the Universe:

From This Day Forward, as the Poet Walks Around with the Poems

Do Pay Attention to the Earth.

This, is based off of a famous poet’s injury this July, which he’d received stitches for, and this is also, an environmental piece, I believe, because of the overuse, the abuse of the world’s natural resources, the earth will eventually, fight back, and, when it does, humans will have HELL to pay!!!
