There’s, this prevalence (or so I’m inclined to believe???), that there are, the enmeshments of children who were raised in single-parent homes, because, for starters, these children became the surrogates to their only parent, and, the parent would (not intentionally of course) treat these kids as if they were their spouses, like after a long day’s work, the parent would talk to the child about how the day of work went (something you usually do with your spouses, one at a time, in a marriage!).

and it looks, something like this…chart found online…

And, whether or not it’s, noticeable, this would have a deep impact on the child’s socialization, and as s/he grows up, things will slowly, turn bad (once again, this still my own beliefs!!!).

The single parents would, unintentionally, and unknowingly, turn their young into their significant others (the spouses???), and even IF the child felt okay about it, the effects of taking up these adult roles, to help mommy or daddy with sorting through WHATEVER adult things they’d going through will become burdensome, and, the kid ended up, getting SCREWED over by the parents who actually worked hard, to love their own young, and, everybody LOSES!!!
