Just because the ones who’d hurt you are, already D-E-A-D, that doesn’t mean, that they’d, paid up for what they did to you, because you’re, still here, and, still feeling the strains of their abuse and neglect on your lives.

Just because the ones who’d hurt you are, already D-E-A-D, that doesn’t mean, that everything starts from zero, oh no, everything kept going, like those rivers still, flowed, and emptied themselves, into the oceans somewhere.

Just because the ones who’d hurt you are, already D-E-A-D, what does that mean? That, what they did to you, NEVER actually, happened, because you can’t, get them back? Of course N-O-T, because fate will, help us, get EVEN, whether or not we like it!

Just because the ones who’d hurt you are, already D-E-A-D, that doesn’t make it easier, for you, to keep on, walking down this road called life, with all those, scars, scorch marks still intact, on the bodies of your, memories.

Just because the ones who’d hurt you are, already D-E-A-D, that doesn’t mean, that you should or can, or even, are willing to, forgive and forget everything that’s happened, ‘cuz I won’t, and you shouldn’t either. Because, someone NEEDS to pay, for what had happened to me, as a young child (too young and too naïve, and still nowhere NEAR the vicinity of STUPID) who couldn’t fight back against their abuse and neglect back then, but now, Little Red (that’s me!!!), became Granny Red (another “alter ego” of me!!!), and now, Granny Red (who’s still??? Oh yeah, ME!!!) is, KICKING ass, and she ain’t takin’ her rest, not any time soon………
