The silhouettes of, monsters, they came calling out the little children’s names, like the enticing flute that called out to the little children, from the Pied Piper.

The silhouettes of, monsters, they’d, become, stenciled onto her bedroom walls, she’s, keeping them, so, they don’t come for real.  She’d gotten, enough monsters in her life, and she’s, trying, to sleep, as soundly as she possibly can, through, these, dark and, stormy, nights of her, childhood………

The silhouettes of, monsters, she’d left them all, inside, her childhood home, inside, that bedroom of her own, nightmares, and, as she’d become old enough, she’d, run, like hell, fast as she could, to get away, from the, silhouettes of, monsters, that now, took up permanent residence, on her, walls.
