It’s always a pleasure to have this prolific artist paint a spot for us around our corner of London and leave some fresh creations for ourselves and the local community to admire. Fat Cap Sprays has left a number of additions on a range of spots big and small. As well as leaving an amazing range of iconic subjects, many of which really hit the nostalgia button for ourselves, we have also been treated to a number of original characters from the artist. All works have been depicted in the artist’s own distinct take on neon style illustration that bring these characters to life and really pop from the surface they adorn. It has also been very interesting to see how the artist’s output has continued to evolve since he emerged with a bang on the street art scene in 2020, with the most notable dynamic shift of late being the looser more flared approach to his works.
We of course wish to say a big thank you to each of the respective generous space owners, who kindly donated a spot and trusted us to work it. As well as a massive thank you to Fat Cap Sprays for visiting SE20 – and it surrounding towns – to support this initiative and for leaving such a brilliant series of artworks in the process.
