It has been a long year and unfortunately it has been a period where we have had to say a sad farewell to many of our senior members who passed away due to illness or old age. We will forever remember them for who they were, what they stood for and what they gave to their families and community.

It is important that their efforts in building Meteora are not wasted and again the current committee seeks those within our community to contribute to the society and the good work it does. If you have some time to spare join the committee or pay us a visit at the next function. Besides raising funds for worthwhile causes, for those starting out Meteora gives you an opportunity to expand your skills on a number of levels. There is always value in having voluntary/charity work as part of your CV.

The Society’s AGM will be held on  26 November 2016, and a new Committee was elected, if you need to contact the committee, details are below.
