This free workshop will cover how to manage oak woodlands to create wildlife habitat for game and non-game species. It will also cover steps to monitor the health of your oak woodland. This two-hour program will cover: </span></p>
<p><span style="color:#000000;"><span style="font-size:medium;">·</span>         <span style="font-size:medium;">How to manage oak woodlands for wildlife habitat,</span></span></p>
<p><span style="color:#000000;"><span style="font-size:medium;">·</span>         <span style="font-size:medium;">Managing your land for edges, thermal cover, and more forest structure attributes,</span></span></p>
<p><span style="color:#000000;"><span style="font-size:medium;">·</span>         <span style="font-size:medium;">Tree health problems in oaks including oak wilt and bur oak blight,</span></span></p>
<p><span style="color:#000000;"><span style="font-size:medium;">·</span>         <span style="font-size:medium;">How to find a forester for more help with your woodland.</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size:medium;color:#000000;">Rick Horton, District Biologist with the National Wild Turkey Federation and Matt Russell with the University of Minnesota Department of Forest Resources will present on these topics. These instructors will also be available to assist with questions on woodland management for wildlife.</span></p>
