<p>(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) &#8211; The LRHS varsity football Mustangs are 4-2. The action will resume this week with a district home game against Palmetto High School. The Mustangs are 2-0 in their district so far, and with the end of the season approaching the game is one more precious opportunity to secure a spot in the playoffs.</p>
<p>Junior Cameron Pearcy said the team is looking forward to the game, &#8220;We have been practicing really hard and have done everything the coaches say.&#8221;</p>
<p>After this week&#8217;s home game there are only three more regular season games. Two are at home, Oct. 25 vs. Riverview and then Nov. 8 vs. Port Charlotte. The away game is a district contest at Sarasota Nov. 1.</p>
