(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – Some LRHS TV Production students produced an advertisement that will run about 50 times on Sarasota’s ABC7-TV.

The students worked together both behind and in front of the camera to create a final commercial for the annual Jingle run, scheduled for Dec. 20 on Main Street in Lakewood Ranch.

The stars of the commercial included seniors Hunter Napier, Rachel Wood, and Sarah Vaught, with a voiceover by sophomore Garret Mathis. The LRHS cross country and track teams participated in running for the commercial.

Napier said,” It was a really cool experience to work with all the runners.”

LRHS TV production teacher Bryon Stedman said Jingle Run officials cooperated with the project.

“We worked with them and shot it on public property,” he said. “It’s cool for the kids to get the experience to actually broadcast something. It’s one thing for the kids to see their work online, and another to actually see it on TV. It really bring home to the kids that this stuff we’re doing is real.”
