<p style="text-align:left;">(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL)- The <a href="http://www.nhs.us/">National Honor Society</a> (NHS) is a nationwide high school honors organization that encourages students to drive to get get scholarships, become better leaders and complete community service<b>.</b></p>
<p style="text-align:left;"><b></b>Students are driven to get scholarships,become better leaders, and complete community service.</p>
<p style="text-align:left;">Sophomores, juniors, and seniors at LRHS with GPA 3.5 or higher are eligible to become a part of this club.</p>
<p style="text-align:left;">“I&#8217;m excited to welcome the new members, and am looking forward to making the club better,” said LRHS junior and NHS Public Relations Officer Julia Harrison.</p>
<p style="text-align:left;">Students are given two weeks to complete the forms. They are due March 7.</p>
<p style="text-align:left;">A committee of teachers will evaluate and pick students to become members of NHS. The selected students will then be inducted on March 24.</p>
