(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – In the blink of an eye, Mustangs will receive their third quarter report cards and move on to their final marking period of the 2013-14 school year.

Many Mustangs said they aren’t prepared for the end of the quarter, which is March 21. This is also the last day before spring break.

Freshman Ryan Blakemore said, “I am not prepared at all. I really need to work hard to get my grades up.”

Junior Brenden Hadley and freshman Colton Zimring both shared that they had been studying very hard and that they are prepared to take on their final quarter of the year.

Unfortunately, the end of third quarter is when “senioritis” strikes the hardest.

Senior John Akar said, “I am not even close to being prepared for the end of the quarter. I have had a lack of effort in my classes and my grades really aren’t where I would like them to be.”

School officials say with only two weeks left Mustangs need to be on their “A”-game everyday.
