(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – The LRHS art department this week held its annual Art Holiday Boutique on Lakewood Ranch Main Street, and it was a success.

The art department raised over $1,400 in order to purchase supplies necessary to draw, paint, and more.

“I would definitely say that it was a success,” says LRHS Art teacher Terry Thompson, “We doubled what we made last year and we have enough to buy new art supplies.”

It was also the night an antique car show took place right next to the Art Holiday Boutique, which was rather convenient.

“I think it turned out really nice that the car show was at the same time as our art boutique,” says LRHS Art teacher Abby Flannigan.

Both art teachers agree that a lot of students worked to make the donation pieces, and everyone involved with the art boutique this year worked very hard to make it happen.
