(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) The LRHS varsity cheer team attended the Universal Cheerleaders Association (UCA) Regionals at the Tampa Convention Center and placed 3rd out of five teams.

The Mustang JV and varsity cheer teams preformed their routine containing cheers, stunts and tumbling.

“This was a good beginning competition since it was a nice way to see how this new team works together, it was also fun to see the other teams skills,” said senior varsity cheerleader Christina Grover.

The cheer team’s next competition is FHSAA Regionals on Jan. 16 at Plant City High School.
