(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – The LRHS volleyball team may have lost the semi states, but the team is building for 2015 on this year’s success. They won the County Tournament, Districts, Regional Tournaments, and went to Final Four.

Coach Perri Hankins has high hopes for next year’s team.

“We have a lot of strong players returning,” she said. “This team was the best and most accomplished in LRHS volleyball history. Next year we hope to take another shot at winning States.”

The LRHS volleyball team ended the 2014 season with a loss in the state semi-finals.

The Girl’s varsity team traveled to Kissimmee and 1-3 against Winter Springs.

“The third game went to 30 points,” Hankins said. “We felt that whoever won that game would win overall and losing it had an effect on the way we played.”
