(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – The LRHS blood drive last week was a huge success. Overall, LRHS donated enough blood to save a total of 213 lives.

LRHS Blood Drive Coordinator and science teacher Maria Whalen said she’s thrilled with the turnout.

“Thank you to everyone who participated in the blood drive,” she said. “LRHS donated 71 units of blood…way to go, Mustangs.”

Whalen said two more blood drive are scheduled for this school year.
