(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – The lady Mustangs soccer team is preparing for a big rematch.

Thursday they won the region quarter-final against Gulf Coast High School 2-1, and that means that at 7 p.m., Jan. 27, The Lady Mustangs play the Venice Indians in the region semi-final at LRHS.

The Indians defeated the Mustangs 4-0 in the district final earlier this season.

Mustang senior Maria Miller said, “If we go in there with the right frame of mind on Tuesday, realize that its going to be a hard game and work our butts off, then we will have a good chance.”
